Who We Are

Cathleen, the owner of Discovered In Vacation Homes, was born and raised in the Poconos and takes pride in sharing her hometown with vacationers. As a travel addict herself, she have stayed in countless vacation homes around the world. With over a decade of sales and hospitality experience, Cathleen knows what it takes to create one of a kind stay. “From meeting wonderful hosts and having unforgettable experiences as I traveled, I decided to start my own short term rental business so that I can provide unparalleled experiences for guests and fellow travelers.”- Cathleen 

Meet Laura, The Operations Manager. She is in charge of making sure all boots-on-the-ground operations run smoothly. From cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, supply replenishment and monthly inspections. Originally from Long Island, NY, she moved to the Poconos over 30 years ago and prides herself in offering guests excellent customer service and hospitality. “Nothing makes me happier than seeing my guests spending quality time together and making lasting vacation memories.” -Laura
